„Light moves“ is the motto of BERLIN leuchtet 2017. The streets of Berlin, buildings, landmarks and significant places are put with the help of high-performance radiators and beamer-projector on 17 days in perspective. Many national as well as international artists, designer and Lighting Designer tell their story in a special kind of way. For creativity there are no borders. Artistic lighting installations/effects, as for example illuminations, projections, video-mapping, videoart – and light art installations, as well as many events like the Opening Event, the Berlin Leuchtet-Gala, but also events from partners, charity-program and much more.
