VITA
*1979 in Bulgaria
Since 1999 he has participated in numerous national and international festivals, curatorial projects and exhibitions for contemporary art in Bulgaria and in abroad.
2002 to 2015 his works are in national and international public and private collections.
2005 graduated painting at the National Art Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria.
He lives and works in Sofia, Bulgaria.
He has won numerous awards for painting, drawing and photography, design and advertising.
He has presented his five own projects at the National Art Gallery, Gallery UniCredit Studio in Sofia and Bulart gallery, Varna.
The last few years Ivaylo Hristov works in finding the crossing points of different artistic practices – experiments with drawings and light, installations, objects, video; the use of print and textile; and output of new artistic values in the combination of several media.
