The project CROSS aims to produce new performances based on contemporary languages but also aims to individuate and create a participative audience and to increase citizen’s cultural role in Verbano Cusio Ossola area. In 2017 CROSS will be at its third edition!

CROSS includes an educational path addressed to general audience and a rich artistic programme in different periods of the year, also during “Villaggio d’artista” festival. The main part of the project is CROSSaward, an international prize for new performance productions, with a focus on the relationship between musical composition and performing act.
The three finalists will be host in Verbania and Cannobio for an art residency week. A board of experts will proclaim the winner, who will receive a prize to support the production of 4,000 €.
